Financial Processor I

Location: Greenville, TX

The Financial Processor I is responsible for knowledge of double entry bookkeeping in performing the job duties. 
Job Duties:   

• Correctly applies payments or refunds to borrower accounts.

• Prepares, maintains, reports financial exception data collection; explain the variances, identifies the causes, and reconciles account. 

• Assists in preparation of monthly exception financial review and reporting.

• Prepares daily/weekly/monthly exception accruals.

• Assists with data requests by providing supporting documentation within specified time frame.

• Utilizes financial systems to their maximum potential and make reporting effective, efficient, accurate, timely and insightful.

• Prepares documents for external auditors during periodic reviews and audits.

• Researches various exception accounting issues and proposes appropriate account treatments.

• Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Job Requirements:     

• High School diploma or GED required.

• Ability to select and apply established procedures and techniques on routine assignments. 

• Completed work and methods used, are reviewed for technical accuracy.
