Employee Engagement Manager

Location: Virtual, in the U.S.

Pearl Interactive Network is seeking a dynamic Employee Engagement Manager to Join our Team! 

The Employee Engagement Manager will promote and maintain a positive organizational culture. This position is dedicated to driving strong employee engagement, opening lines of communications with current and potential employees through managing the communications of Human Resources programs and initiatives and crafting HR-related messages ranging from employee surveys, company newsletters to rewards programs. This position will work closely with Human Resources in the development and execution of strategic employee engagement activities and communications. This role will manage and execute on Engagement & Culture programs as well as own the data administration and analysis for the function.

Job Duties:

  • Assume day-to-day responsibility for planning and driving Engagement & Culture programs toward successful completion. Set the team’s prioritization on activities, key events, and deadlines, then facilitate alignment of the contributors and stakeholders through to completion in a way that fosters inclusion at all levels.
  • Assess business needs and develop creative strategies to impact overall Regional engagement.
  • Proactively work to connect overall Talent team initiatives to engagement strategies.
  • Manage data administration and results analysis for functional initiatives. Identify and enlist internal resources and vendor partnership, as needed.
  • Partner to develop and execute of Regional recognition programs and campaigns based on values and the empowerment of employees to drive results.
  • Responsible for design and implementation of wellbeing programs for employees, in partnership with Benefits team.
  • Support driving Regional engagement through culture initiatives and strong project/program management expertise.
  • Implement employee engagement and recognition programs to encourage the Pearl culture both in a virtual and bricks and mortar environment.
  • Assist to maintain and enhance company culture and engage regularly with employees to determine if cultural values are being exhibited.
  • Identify how to measure culture and reevaluate the cultural progression every month through tracking.
  • Present results of surveys to Leadership and collaborate to identify ways to continue to improve survey results.
  • Send communications recognizing employee achievements.
  • Compile reports and summaries for management outlining marketing campaigns and engagement efforts.
  • Develop content and broadcast communications via social media through LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
  • Assist with the content and distribution of newsletters and employee communications for virtual and client site staff. Create marketing content and distribute to all staff.
  • Write feature stories on associates, teams, and locations to help promote associate engagement, rewards, and recognition.
  • Create a menu of touch points that would vary among contracts depending on scope and longevity of the contract and internal strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate an approach to uniform messaging from Pearl to various internal and external customers.
  • Create Employee Engagement Surveys to identify and build action plans with the most valuable themes and stories to help our teams improve engagement and experience within Pearl.
  • Develop and update marketing material (brochures, videos, etc.) as requested.
  • Coordinate with all departments to ensure appropriate supply and distribution of marketing materials are present on site and external marketing events.
  • Ensure all marketing material is specific and consistent to federal or non-federal market, and across the organization.
  • Maintain SharePoint filing systems for marketing materials and communications.
  • Compose, format, and create routine correspondence, reports and other documents.
  • Assist HR in educating new employees on the handbook, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with training department to review and ensure uniformity in design across employee trainings.
  • Support all employee training and other duties, as needed.

Classification:  Full-time, Exempt

Operating Hours:  Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm EST

Preferred Locations:  Virtual based out of Hartford, Connecticut or Columbus, Ohio

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Human Relations, Marketing, or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in combination of Employee Engagement, HR, and/or Communications required
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect employee engagement back to business objectives
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint experience required
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, listening, and presentation
  • Ability to balance multiple projects while meeting deadlines with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality on conversations, business records and reports both internal and external
  • Experience in employee engagement activities and project planning
  • Marketing communication skills including writing and composition of marketing materials
  • Strong experience and working knowledge of Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
